Seed distribution prog held in Jhalokathi

An agricultural training programme, seed distribution and discussion meeting were held at Taltala Bazar in Nalchity upazila of Jhalokathi recently.

The Nalchity Agriculture and Youth Development Club organised the programme at its office, with around 25 farmers and volunteers participating in the training session. Club General Secretary Aslam Hossain Minar conducted the training, focusing on modern agricultural practices. An agricultural quiz was also held after the training.

Club Founder-Director Kamrul Shikdar Waliullah and President Kabir Hossain Khan distributed prizes and seeds among the participants.

Members of the club’s advisory council, including Md Ibrahim Khalil Kamal, Md Emdadul Haque and Riaz Uddin Jewel Molla, attended the programme. Special guests included Md Moniruzzaman Molla and Md Abu Hanif Howlader.

Speakers encouraged farmers to adopt modern farming methods and urged young people to pursue entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.
