Kate Winslet talks to join ‘The Lord of the Rings’

Actress Kate Winslet, one of Hollywood’s most popular stars, may join the new film in the legendary fantasy series The Lord of the Rings after appearing in the Avatar franchise.

According to a report by IGN, discussions are underway about Kate Winslet-famous for her role as Rose in the movie Titanic-joining the cast of the upcoming film The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. However, it has not yet been revealed which character she might portray.

One of the main attractions of the film is that Andy Serkis will once again return to his iconic role as Gollum.

In addition to acting, Serkis is also directing the movie. Meanwhile, Peter Jackson will serve as the producer.
