Badhon joins Tawsif Mahbub for web series ‘Chokro 2’

The web series ‘Chokro’ starring Tawsif Mahbub was released on OTT in 2024.

Directed by Vicky Zahed, Tausif is playing the role of Prof Humayun. He has a lot of knowledge about shared hallucinations.

Although the series was praised after its release, Tawsif had regrets. Because, he shot ‘Chokro’ as a TV series in 2021.

Finally, Tawsif did full-fledged OTT work in the new season of the ‘Chokro’ series. ‘Chokro 2’ will be released on the OTT platform iScreen on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Tawsif Mahbub said, “The first season was made for television.

I didn’t want to come to OTT like this. Now I can say that I have officially made a web series.” Like the first episode, ‘Chokro 2’ is directed by Vicky Zahed.

The first look poster of the series was released on Tuesday.

It shows Tawsif standing with a blood-stained bare body and a chapati in one hand.

After the poster was released, many people commented on social media that the film was made with AI.

However, Tausif said that it was not made with AI. The body seen in the poster is his own, and the blood smeared on the body is also real.

Regarding the story of ‘Chokro 2’, Tawsif said, “I will say about the series in one line, that those with weak hearts should not watch it because, this series can disturb you a lot.”

Actress Azmeri Haque Badhon has joined the series ‘Chokro 2’.

However, the actress and the producer are reluctant to say anything about her character right now. They want to keep it as a surprise.

Apart from Badhon, several other actors have joined the new episode.

Vicky Zahed said that although the first season has 20 episodes, the second season has been arranged in eight episodes. ‘Chokro 2’ will be released on iScreen a week after Eid.
