Road crash in Daudkandi motorcycle rider killed

A tragic road accident claimed the life of a Pran Company motorcycle rider in Daudkandi, Comilla, on Wednesday.

Farhad Hossain Sumon, 25, was killed around 10 am when a Tisha Plus bus reportedly collided with his motorcycle on the Comilla-bound lane of the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in the Raypur area.

Local sources said that Sumon’s colleague, Mostafa, was injured in the incident.
Farhad Hossain was the son of Fakhrul Islam of Putia village in Daudkandi.

Colleagues Shakil Ahmed and Robiul Islam described Sumon as a polite and humble individual who had served Pran Company for over seven years.

“It is heartbreaking that his life ended so tragically just after leaving for work,” they said.
Family members stated that Sumon is survived by two young children, a son and a daughter.

Daudkandi Highway Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge, Md. Iqbal Bahar Majumdar, said the vehicle responsible for the accident has not yet been identified.

The body has been taken to the police station, and legal proceedings regarding the case are underway.
