Continuous thunderstorms forecasted

A seasonal low over the south Bay of Bengal is influencing weather patterns, with thunderstorms possible across various parts of the country, according to the Met Office.
This information was provided in a 120-hour forecast signed by meteorologist Kazi Zebunnesa on Friday.
The forecast states that the seasonal low is centred over the south Bay of Bengal, with its trough extending to the northeast Bay.
An extension of the sub-continental high-pressure zone lies over Bihar and adjoining areas. From 6am on Friday onwards for the next 24 hours weather across the country may remain mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies. Night temperatures may stay nearly unchanged, while daytime temperatures may rise slightly.
Daytime temperatures may stay nearly unchanged, while night temperatures may drop by 1-2°C.
The Met Office said daytime and night-time temperatures may rise slightly over the next five days.
