Post-election violence 1 dead, 9 injured

One person was killed and 9 others were injured when a post-election violence taken place in the village Chitabari under Dhopakhali Union within Kachua Upazila in Bagerhat Constituency (Bagerhat Sadar and Kachua Upazilas)-2 between the supporters of BNP nominated MP candidate Barrister Md. Zakir Hossain (paddy sheaf symbol) and former BNP MP independent (MP) candidate M A H Selim (horse symbol) on Friday in the evening, according to a delayed report received here. The deceased was identified as Osman Sardar (29), son of Shahjahan Sardar of villag Par-Noapara under Bagerhat Sadar Upazila and a supporter of the independent candidate M A H Selim.
