Actor Manoj Bajpayee is going to appear on screen as Mahatma Gandhi, one of the leading figures of the Indian freedom struggle.

Manoj is playing the role of Mahatma Gandhi in the film directed by Sudhir Mishra.

However, details about the name of the film or the release date have not been revealed yet. Recently, Manoj’s look as Gandhi was released on social media. Mahatma Gandhi is seen standing among his followers at a public meeting.

Since the look was released, Manoj has been receiving praise on social media. Directed by Sudhir Mishra, the film stars Saurabh Shukla in another important role.

It is learnt that the film is set in the backdrop of a largely unknown 21 days in the history of India’s freedom struggle. The new film is being produced by Anubhav Sinha and Narendra Hirawat.
