Standard Bank launches Smart Banking and Remittance Service

Standard Bank PLC, has launched a month-long campaign titled ‘Smart Banking and Remittance Service’ across all its branches with the slogan ‘Sincere Service Bridging Shari`ah modernity’.

Siddiqur Rahman, Managing Director (Acting) formally inaugurated the campaign in a ceremony held at the Bank’s Head Office on Tuesday.

The main objectives of the campaign are to encourage customers to use digital banking services, to expand remittance services for expatriates, and to promote Standard Bank’s specialized Islamic banking accounts (such as Haj, Mohor, Waqf, etc.).

Sirajul Kabir, Head of Special Asset Management Division; Mansoor Ahmed, Head of Investment Risk Management Division; Mohammad Kaiser Alam Mozumder, Head of Human Resources Division and senior executives of the Bank’s Head Office were present in the ceremony.
