Walton begins making Kappa compressors

Through innovation and technological excellence, Walton-the technology giant of Bangladesh and the country’s only compressor manufacturer-has been achieving milestone after milestone in producing high-performance compressors.

Walton has started manufacturing high-performance, durable and environmentally friendly compact-design compressors of the ‘Kappa’ series of the European ACC brand, said a press release.

Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC director SM Nurul Alam Rezvi and managing director SM Mahbubul Alam inaugurated the production activities of the compressors on Saturday at Walton Headquarters at Chandra in Gazipur.

Speaking at the event, SM Mahbubul Alam said that the production of ACC’s Kappa compressors was a major milestone and a matter of great pride for Walton as well as for Bangladesh.

The production of Kappa compressors – an impeccable combination of smart design, durability, and superior performance – is another remarkable success of Walton’s research and innovation team, he said.

He further said that compressors were a highly promising sector in Bangladesh’s high-tech industry, with a vast international market. Walton’s target is to establish itself as one of the world’s leading compressor exporters after meeting domestic demand. Walton compressor chief business officer SM Almas Rahman, among others, was present.
