Ishwardi prepares for Polls with inspection

Ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election, inspection of polling centers and an election rehearsal were conducted in Ishwardi upazila with the aim of ensuring a free, fair, and peaceful election.

On Monday, the district administration carried out these inspections and rehearsals at various polling centers across the upazila. During the visit, election-time security arrangements, law and order conditions, the voting process, and emergency preparedness were reviewed on the spot.

Present during the inspection and election rehearsal were Pabna Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Dr. Shahed Mostafa, and Pabna Superintendent of Police Anwar Zahid.

Also present were Ishwardi Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Arifur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police (Ishwardi Circle) Pranab Kumar Sarkar, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Asaduzzaman Sarkar, Pabna District Election Officer Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of District Detective Branch (DB) Police Rashidul Islam, along with other senior officials from the administration and law enforcement agencies.

During the inspection, the officials examined the entry and exit routes of the polling centers, security management, and the preparedness of the duty-assigned officers and law enforcement personnel.

At that time, they provided necessary directives to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the election.
