Jamaat candidate of Dhaka-10 demands level playing field

Advocate Md. Jasim Uddin Sarkar, the candidate nominated by the 11-party alliance for Dhaka-10 constituencies and leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, has expressed concern over the election environment, calling for maintaining courtesy, politeness and good conduct during the election campaign. He expressed this statement during an election campaign in the capital’s Dhanmondi area yesterday morning (Wednesday, January 28).
He alleged that their election workers are being attacked, which is not ensuring equal opportunities or a level playing field in the elections.
After demanding a level playing field He said, If the election is questioned like this, the people will not forgive anyone. At the time, he also said, Many candidates are violating the election code of conduct and it is the responsibility of the Election Commission to ensure that.
Jasim Uddin Sarkar said to promising voters, If elected, we will work to eliminate extortion, robbery, encroachment, and traffic congestion.
Initiatives will be taken to construct footover bridges, resolve water logging, clean Dhanmondi Lake, resolve the gas crisis, and break the gas cylinder syndicate as needed. He added, The government comes and goes, but these fundamental problems have been ignored for a long time.
