Thalapathy in trouble over release of his last film

South superstar Vijay Thalapathy will be leaving the silver screen and entering the political arena, so the film ‘Jana Nayagan’ was a name of emotion for his fans.

But the Madras High Court practically poured water on that emotion.

In the face of objections from the Censor Board, extreme legal complications have arisen regarding the release of the film.

The court battle and dramatic turn of events began with the Censor Board (CBFC) refusing to grant clearance.

The film was supposed to be released on January 9, but it was stalled due to censor complications.

When the producers approached single bench of the Madras High Court, the court quickly ordered the film to be given a ‘UA-16’ certificate. However, that relief did not last long.
