Ananta Jalil bids farewell to movie

Entertainment Report :

Dhallywood actor and producer Ananta Jalil is not only a person in the film industry, but also a businessman. He has his own garment business.

But he is taking a big decision due to major adversities in his business. He said that the actor will stay away from the film industry for now.

Ananta Jalil said that while there was once a huge factory in Savar with about 12,000 employees, the number of employees there has now come down to 4,000; hence the decision.

The actor recently told reporters that in the current situation, he needs to focus fully on his business.

He does not see a chance to return to the silver screen until the situation improves. He is even unable to complete the pending projects currently in hand.

In his words, “Even though I did movies, I was never crazy about movies. I am a business-minded person. I used to look for business even during the shooting.

It would not be right for me to return to movies until the business returns to good condition.”

Regarding his work style, he further said, “When there is a crisis in a job, it is my nature to focus on overcoming that difficult time.

Business is not going well now; if you are busy with movies at this time, you will face bigger problems in the future.”

Since his debut as a producer and actor in 2008, Ananta has appeared on screen with his wife Barsha in every film.

Barsha is also his companion during this break in his acting career. In this context, he said, “When we do a film again, we will do it together. If not, neither of us will do it. Cinema is not our profession, we work as a hobby.”
