KUET hosts nat’l chemical fest

Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) hosted the National Chemical Fest “Reactra 1.0” on Thursday, aiming to promote innovation and practical skills among engineering students.

The day-long inaugural programme was held at the university’s Student Welfare Centre, organised by the Department of Chemical Engineering. KUET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Maksud Helali inaugurated the fest as the chief guest.

Addressing the event, the vice-chancellor emphasised the need to utilise students’ innovative knowledge and skills to build a modern and developed Bangladesh. He said national-level academic initiatives like this play a vital role in fostering creativity among students and generating new ideas to support the country’s industrial growth.
