Actress Mimi Chakraborty of West Bengal recently spoke about her career, salary and the industry in an interview.

She said that she is not willing to compromise on the quality of her work, nor does she want to act for less salary.

Mimi said, “I’ve actually become much more diplomatic than before, but the habit of telling the truth to my face hasn’t changed yet.

Many people don’t call me for work because I don’t bargain on my salary.

I give 100 per cent to my work, so why should I compromise on my salary? I have accepted that I don’t have a boyfriend, father or elder brother in the industry who has a production company.”
