FIFA World Cup trophy arrives in Dhaka today

The FIFA World Cup trophy 2026 will arrive in Dhaka today. Gilbarto da Silva, who was a defensive midfielder will fetch the trophy in Dhaka as the representative of FIFA. Gilbarto da Silva was the footballer of Brazil Football team, which clinched the FIFA World Cup trophy in the year of 2002. It may be mentioned that the FIFA World Cup trophy earlier three times arrived in Bangladesh as the football lovers of the country watched the FIFA World Cup trophy.
The leading soft drink company Coca Cola has arranged the tour of World Cup trophy in Bangladesh. Football lovers of 30 countries have got chance to watch the FIFA World Cup trophy in front of the trophy.
The FIFA World Cup will arrive at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital around 10:00am. Then the officials of Bangladesh Football Federation and the officials of Coca Cola will receive the trophy. After that the FIFA World Cup trophy will take place at the Hotel Radisson Garden Blu for the spectators.
It is noteworthy that Coca Cola company of Bangladesh chapter arranged a promo campaign for the spectators of Bangladesh who won the lottery. Those who have won the tickets of print copies can get chance to watch the trophy in front of the FIFA World Cup. No spectators will be allowed to touch the trophy.
It is mentionable that the FIFA World Cup winners, the Head of the States and the FIFA President can only touch the trophy.
The spectators, who have won the lottery tickets will not be allowed to carry a seven to ten inches long bag. The winners of the tickets will not be permitted to hand over their tickets. Smoking is strictly prohibited at the venue, where the trophy will be set up for the spectators. It is forbidden for the spectators to carry sharp weapon and other banned items.
The spectators will not be allowed to hold any flag of any country or any team. The trophy will leave Dhaka after the evening.
The inaugural programme of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be held at the Aztek Stadium. The United States of America, Canada and Mexico are the hosts of FIFA World Cup 2026.
A total of 48 teams will take part in the ‘Greatest Show in the Earth’. This is for the first time such number of teams will take part in the gala extravaganza.
