Ctg flower festival kicks off

The country’s largest month-long Chattogram Flower Festival was officially inaugurated on Friday morning at the 194-acre DC Park located on the seashore of Salimpur Mouza under Sitakunda Upazila of Chattogram district.

Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Md. Ehsanul Haque inaugurated the flower festival as the chief guest by cutting the ribbon and releasing balloons. He highly praised the well-planned and large-scale work of the Chattogram district administration focusing on this flower festival organized at the DC Park, which was decorated in a new and attractive and colorful way.

Speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Md. Ehsanul Haque said that this is a matter of joy not only for Chattogram, but also for the people of the whole country.

He expressed hope that people of not only Chattogram, but also other districts of the country will be able to come to DC Park and enjoy pure joy.

Such an initiative of the district administration will be an example for other districts of the country.
Chattogram Divisional Commissioner Dr. Md. Ziauddin, DIG of Chattogram Range of Police Md. Ahsan Habib Palash and District Police Superintendent Mohammad Nazir Ahmed Khan were present as special guests at the flower festival held under the chairmanship of Chattogram Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Islam Mian.
