Web series ‘Antka’ based on family stories

OTT platform Chorki is bringing a new web series at the beginning of New Year. The series, titled ‘Antka’, will be released on January 14 at midnight. It has various twists based on a family context.

The series has been produced by Arafat Mohsin Nidhi with the story, screenplay and dialogues of Raba Khan.
The producer said that a horror context has been added to the family drama, said a press release.

The series is based on the strange happenings of the Rahman family, their dreams and a ghost story. Abul Hayat, Rosey Siddiqui, Saberi Alam, Tushar Khan, Mousumi Nag, Arosh Khan, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Sohel Mondal, Fariha Rahman, Sumon Anwar, Tanmoy Parvez and others have played various roles.

The makers and actors of the series recently met for a chat on the occasion of the release of ‘Antka’.
Noted actor Abul Hayat said that he enjoyed acting with the newcomers in this series.
The actor believes that the audience will also like the series.

Sharing her experience of shooting, actress Rosey Siddiqui said, “After a long time, we were able to get together with some old people. We laughed so much that the makers were forced to say, please stop laughing, let me do the scene. I had fun with the little ones. They also understood how funny the adults can be.”

Although they regularly work in dramas, this is the first time Arosh Khan and Sunerah Binte Kamal have acted together on the OTT.

Arosh said, “I often work with Sunerah. She is a calm, loving person; I usually play such characters. But during this shoot, I realised that she can also act well in very fickle or naughty characters.”
