The number of Bangladeshi cricketers registering for the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) has increased during the ongoing players’ registration process, sources said.
Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman, who was recently released from the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad for the Indian Premier League (IPL), registered for the PSL 11 on Tuesday. He is among at least eight Bangladeshi players who have expressed interest in featuring in the upcoming season.
The growing list of registered players also includes senior all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, middle-order batter Towhid Hridoy, pacer Taskin Ahmed, and leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, sources added.
Opener Tanzid Hasan, experienced campaigner Mahmudullah Riyad, and Hasan Mahmud have also completed their registrations.
Sources further said that more Bangladeshi cricketers are expected to register in the coming days as interest from the country’s players in the PSL continues to grow.
The PSL players registration window remains open, with franchises closely monitoring overseas sign-ups ahead of the draft.
