Dry, foggy weather forecasted

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted that most parts of the country will remain generally dry weather with intervals of partly cloudy skies, when foggy conditions may continue.
Day night temperatures were expected to fluctuate slightly during the next 24 hours beginning at 9:00 am on Thursday.
According to the bulletin, moderate to thick fog may occur at many places over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue at places till noon.
Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may be disrupted temporarily due to thick fog, it added.
Besides, a mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Madaripur, Gopalganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Dinajpur, Panchagarh, Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Cumilla, Khulna, Satkhira, Jashore, Chuadanga, Kushtia, Barishal and Bhola and it may abate from some places, said the bulletin.
Moreover, night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may rise by (1-2) degrees Celsius over the country.
On Wednesday, Teknaf recorded the highest temperature at 27.0 degrees Celsius, while Jashore registered the lowest at 07.08 degrees Celsius today.
In Dhaka, sunset will be at 5:22 pm on Thursday and sunrise at 6:42 am today.
