Southeast Bank appoints new DMD

Md Sekander-E-Azam joined Southeast Bank PLC as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) on Thursday.

Before joining Southeast Bank, he served at United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) as Senior Executive Vice-President and Head of the Branch Distribution Channel.

He began his career in 1998 at Eastern Bank PLC as a Senior Officer, later working at BRAC Bank PLC and UCB in various capacities over a span of more than twenty-seven years.

Sekander-E-Azam completed his BCom and MCom in Management from the University of Dhaka.

He also holds a BSc in Computing and Information Systems from London Guildhall University, London.
