Bank Asia signs MoU with Akij Renewable Energy

Bank Asia PLC has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Akij Renewable Energy & Automobiles Ltd. to offer exclusive Auto Loan privileges to customers.

Under the partnership, Bank Asia will provide attractive and convenient Auto Loan facilities to individual customers for the purchase of electric vehicles from Akij Renewable Energy & Automobiles Ltd.

The agreement was formally signed at a ceremony held recently at Bank Asia Tower, Karwan Bazar, in the city.

Md. Zahed Chowdhury, Head of Asset Retail Banking Division, Bank Asia PLC, and Sayed Joynul Abedin, Chief Executive Officer, Operations, Akij Renewable Energy & Automobiles Ltd., signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

The partnership is expected to simplify access to auto financing and help fulfill the aspirations of individuals and families seeking quality electric vehicle solutions.

At the same time, it will strengthen the relationship between the two institutions and contribute to the growth of Bangladesh’s automotive and financial services sectors.
