SCB partners with BRAC Bank to support export sector

Standard Chartered Bangladesh has launched Export Receivable Finance for Financial Institutions/Banks (RFFI) in partnership with BRAC Bank PLC, a new trade finance solution aimed at boosting liquidity for exporters,according to press release.

The initiative allows exporters to access funds early under deferred Letters of Credit (LCs), improving cash flow and working capital management. Standard Chartered will leverage its global network and relationships with international buyer banks, while BRAC Bank will provide immediate financing to exporters before the end of the payment term.

“This program extends our support from import to export financing,” said Luthful Arefin Khan, Country Head of Transaction Banking at Standard Chartered Bangladesh. He emphasized that the partnership will strengthen Bangladesh’s export ecosystem.
