TheBrief: Prime Bank hosts sme financing awareness prog

Prime Bank PLC recently conducted an ‘SME Cluster Financing Awareness Program’ at the small Garments Cluster in Saidpur, Nilphamari, aiming to expand access to financial services for the region’s dynamic SME garment sector.

Over 100 local entrepreneurs and members of the garment cluster participated in the interactive session, where they had the opportunity to engage with the Director of the Bangladesh Bank and the DMD of Prime Bank.

Key discussions included financing needs, barriers to accessing formal financial services, and expectations from banks and regulators, says a press release.

This initiative is part of Prime Bank’s broader strategy to empower Cottage, Micro, Small , and Medium Enterprises.
