Student hacked to death in Jhenidah

A student was hacked to death at Bherakhali village under Harinakundo upazila on Wednesday midnight.
The victim was identified as Kamruzzaman, 22, son of Selim Miah. He was a student of second year of Alamdanga Agriculture Diploma College.
Officer- in- charge (OC) Ershadul Kobir of Harinakundo police station said, on Wednesday midnight some miscreants hacked Kamruzzaman with sharp weapons in his bedroom while he was sleeping. He died on the spot. On Tuesday morning family members found his body in his bedroom and informed police.
On information police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent to Jhenidah sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy.
The reason behind the killing could not be known, the OC added.
