Janata Bank launches remittance service month

To commemorate the role of expatriates in the July 2021 mass uprising, Janata Bank PLC has inaugurated a month-long foreign remittance service.

The campaign was officially launched at the bank’s headquarters on Thursday. Dr Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, joined the ceremony virtually to declare the remittance service month open. He urged all banks to introduce mobile-app-based facilities enabling expatriates to send remittances from home with ease.
