Why Sharmin didn’t tell her father about marriage

Sharmin Akter, the champion of the music competition ‘Channel i Banglar Gaan 2016’, and musician Sabbir Qureshi have tied the knot.

Their wedding ceremony was recently completed at the Gausul Azam Mosque in the capital.

Expressing her feelings about her new life, Sharmin said, “Marriage is a very important decision in life.

New responsibilities, new relationships-all of it feels different. I have started a new journey with the love and prayers of my family and close people.”

Meanwhile, Sharmin did not inform her father about the marriage, there have been allegations. A video of the singer’s father went viral on social media.

In which Sharmin’s father claims that his daughter is getting married but he does not know. She did not inform him about the marriage.

After that, criticism began on social media about this. Many people also criticised and commented on posts of Sharmin and her husband, singer Sabbir.

In response, Sharmin directly admitted that she did not inform her father about marriage. She also gave the reason for this.

Sharmin said, “The biological father did not have any relationship with the daughter, the biological father leaves his wife and children and runs away with a new wife, how can he keep her? The biological father is busy with his new family.”
