Boy hacked to death in Jessore

A teenage boy was hacked to death after calling him out from his business outlet at Nurpur on the outskirts on Tuesday night.
The dead was identified as Shahin Biswas, 17, student of Higher Secondary class at Jhumjhumpur Technical College in and son of Miron Biswas of Nurpur on the outskirts of Jessore town. He was also the owner of flexi load outlet at the area.
Miron Biswas, father of the dead told journalists that a number of miscreants led by Mayeen hacked and killed his son after calling him out from his business outlet at around 9pm on Tuesday. ‘The miscreants attacked my child twice after calling him out of the shop’, he added.
The assailants stabbed Shahin indiscriminately at a filed first. Then he took shelter at residence of the area from where the miscreants took him out by cutting the fence of the house made by corrugated iron sheet and attacked further, said the victim’s father following a feud over a piece of land.
The victim was rushed to Jessore Combined Military Hospital where he died later.
Mizanur Rahman Mridha, sub inspector, Kotwali police station told that the boy was killed over previous enmity. Two people were arrested in this connection.
