Dhaka-Washington partnership talks from Apr 30

The fourth annual Bangladesh-US partnership dialogue will be held here on April 30 and May 1 to advance the
robust and growing bilateral relationship and give it a strategic direction.
The dialogue between the two countries was initially scheduled to take place here on April 29-30.
Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman will lead a large US delegation for these talks, US Embassy Spokesperson Monica L Shie told UNB on Monday.
Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Biswal will also attend it, she said.
“The two sides will discuss the full range of our bilateral activities, including development and governance, trade and investment, and security cooperation,” Monica said.
Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque will lead the Bangladesh side.
