Pace bowling coach of BD cricket team Andre Adams resigns

Pace bowling coach of Bangladesh cricket team Andre Adams submitted resignation to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Saturday last. Last year in February, Andre Adams became pace bowling coach of the Tigers and then, the BCB signed an agreement with Andre Adams for two years. He acted as pace bowling coach during Bangladesh’s ICC Champions Trophy campaign. But before ending his agreement with the BCB, he gave his resignation. The BCB was not satisfied with his performance. Thus he Good-bye to BCB.
After Adams resignation, Shaun Tate of Australia and Umar Gul of Pakistan are in the list of the Pace bowling coach of Bangladesh Cricket team. A source said Shaun Tate has every chance to be the replacement of Andre Adams.
Senior Media Manager of the BCB Rabeed Imam said to this Reporter over telephone on Sunday, ” The replacement of Andre Adams is yet to be finalised. We have some works to appoint a pace bowling coach of Bangladesh.”
Meanwhile, a noted local website said, “The officials of the BCB think it will be a tough task for BCB to appoint a pace bowling coach before the upcoming two-match T20I series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The two T20I matches between Bangladesh and UAE will be held on May 17 and May 19 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE. But there is every chance for BCB to appoint a pace bowling coach before the ensuing five-match Pakistan T20I series. Bangladesh Cricket squad will arrive in Pakistan on May 20. The first, second, third, fourth and the fifth T20I matches between Bangladesh and Pakistan will be held on May 25, May 27, May 30, June 1 and June 3 respectively.
