Most leadership fails by focusing too much on micromanagement What kind of leader are you?
M M Mahbub Hasan :
Many develop into leaders due to their dedicated mentality in family, social and political life. Some are born leaders. But most of the time, a leader is selective in the workplace.
In this case, his previous experience, contributions and achievements are taken into consideration, and he is selected as a leader by the management to achieve more specific and larger goals.
However, many leaders do not try to master the underlying objectives of management well. They even get busy interfering excessively in micro-level matters. As a result, most leaders fail.
Many leaders do not have a full understanding of the difference of their works, objectives and goals or do not even try to understand them properly. As a result, even completing a small task correctly is considered as achieving a larger goal and they swallow a sigh of satisfaction.
However, the real job of a leader is to give instructions to achieve such small successes while achieving a larger goal. Where an employee or responsible agent will celebrate all these small achievements, a leader will inspire and support them in these areas to achieve the larger goal.
Because a leader can only be happy with these small achievements, but he cannot be satisfied easily. Although many leaders sometimes become desperate to celebrate many such small achievements.
Some of the things those in leadership roles should remember with great importance are:
· A leader will listen deeply to others and speak from the heart
· A leader will listen to problems with empathy and ask for solutions with interest
· A leader will always be aware of the responsibilities assigned to him and will be steadfast in achieving the goals
· A leader will have a clear idea of his future action plan and will lead the team in that direction accordingly
The biggest job of the leadership role is that he may solve a problem or show the way to a solution.
Unfortunately, many leaders still only talk about problems, so even though he is officially in a leadership role, in reality he is not a leader yet.
The sooner the concept of leadership is awakened in our hearts, the sooner we will be ready to fulfill greater responsibilities ahead.
Leadership quality is also associated with ownership quality, which must come from the heart. Otherwise, the assigned and external leadership qualities will never be able to achieve the desired goal.
