Auto van driver killed in road accident

Md. Riyad Hossain (22), the product delivery man of Meghna Group, was killed in a road accident in Kahalu, Bogra. The accident occurred on the road in front of Kalipara Ismail Hossain High School in Jamgram Union of the upazila on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased autovan driver Riyad Hossain is the son of Liju Pramanik of Baghopara village in Bogra Sadar.
It is learned that Riyad, along with his colleague S. Rakib, was driving his used autovan to deliver Meghna Group’s products that afternoon from Jamgram Bazar in Kahalu to Durgapur when the axle of the moving autovan suddenly broke and entered his head.
At that time, SR Shakib of Meghna Group, who was with him, rescued him from the scene with the help of local people and quickly took him to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
