NCC Bank wins three awards

NCC Bank has received recognition in three categories at the fourth ICC Emerging Asia Banking Conclave and Awards 2026, organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

According to a press release, the bank won the “Best Performance on Risk Management”, “Best Bank in MSME Acceleration,” and “Best Performance on Asset Quality” awards.

The awards were presented recently at a ceremony held at Hotel Le Meridien in New Delhi, India, during the conclave.

NCC Bank Deputy Managing Director Md Habibur Rahman received the commemorative trophies from Arijit Basu, non-executive chairman of IndusInd Bank, chairman of HDB Financial Services Limited and former managing director of the State Bank of India (SBI), who attended the ceremony.

Ajit Singh, executive director for intelligent business transformation in the financial services sector at the Advisory Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) India, also presented the trophies at the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, Md Habibur Rahman said, “This international recognition once again proves that NCC Bank is always committed to achieving excellence in the banking sector.

“It is not just an award; it is an international acknowledgment of our corporate governance, professionalism, and sustainable banking operations.

“We firmly believe that effective risk management is the cornerstone of sustainable growth, financial stability, and customer trust.

“This achievement will inspire us to work more effectively towards improving customer service and contributing to the overall development of Bangladesh’s financial sector,” he added.

The awards recognise achievements and innovative initiatives by emerging banks in Asia in risk management, asset quality, micro, small and medium enterprise development, and sustainable banking operations.
