MBBS entry test results for published

The results of the MBBS admission test for both public and private medical colleges for the 2024-25 academic session were announced on Sunday, with 45.62% of candidates achieving the pass mark, according to the Health Ministry.

This year, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts in the highly competitive examination. Of the 1,35,666 applicants, 1,31,729 appeared for the test, and 60,095 candidates successfully passed, securing the required 40% pass mark.

Among the successful candidates female candidates were 37,936 and male candidates: 22,159 The top scorer achieved an impressive 90.75 marks.
The admission process for government medical colleges will commence on February 2, 2025, and will continue until February 8, 2025.

Notifications for online applications to private medical colleges will be released on January 23, 2025.The MBBS admission test for this academic year was conducted last Friday.

The Health Ministry’s announcement marks the beginning of the next phase for students vying for coveted seats in Bangladesh’s medical colleges.
