Dipjol returns to BNP politics again
Entertainment Report :
Along with movies, the name of actor Monwar Hossain Dipjol is also associated with politics. He used to do BNP politics.
He was very active in various political activities for Awami League during the last government period.
He even wanted to participate in the last national election for the party.
However, after the fall of Awami League, Dipjol changed his vole.
Again he took shelter under the shade of BNP politics.
On the occasion of Victory Day, Dipjol shared the poster on Facebook and congratulated him where he used pictures of Ziaur Rahman, Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman.
Dipjol wrote in the caption, “December 16 is the Great Victory Day. Deep tribute to those brave martyrs whose great sacrifice is our freedom. Written in the blood of millions of martyrs, this history of victory let the message of liberation come back again and again in the month of December.”
Dipjol has come under criticism for using the pictures of BNP leaders in the poster because he played an active role for Awami League during the previous government.
During the 11th national election in 2018, Dipjol bought the nomination papers of Awami League from Dhaka-14 constituency.
He went to buy nomination papers of Awami League in Dhaka-14 by-election in 2021.
After the fall of the government last August, there have been several cases in his name. Many people are saying that Dipjol is changing his mindset to get rid of the cases.
Dipjol’s swing policy is nothing new. Before this, he was the councilor of Dhaka-9 Ward with the support of BNP in 1994.
Later, when the Awami League government came to power, he claimed himself as a worker of the Awami League.
