Migratory birds have started flocking of haor areas in Kishoreganj.
chirpings of birds have been increasing for two weeks. According to the weather office sources, the severity of winter may increase in haor. The migratory birds seem to have already understood it. As a result, the number of birds is increasing day by day.
Every year from the middle of Hemant, light winter currents begin to blow, And it is at this time that various species of migratory birds rush to the vast area of Haor. Out of 718 species of birds in Bangladesh, 388 species are migratory. Most of which can be found in Haor township. This time is no exception. However, the local residents said that their arrival is a little more in terms of numbers. They also think that the number of birds will increase due to the creation of safe habitats.
It has been seen on the ground that this time too, the arrival of migratory birds has brought out the aesthetic beauty of the haor area. As the afternoon passes, the beautiful scene of these guest birds playing in the clear water of the haor begins. Every day, thousands of nature and bird lovers come to see this aesthetic scene of birds in the heart of the haor.
Nikli’s Chhatirchar haor, Mithamain Sadar, Kewarjoor Haor, Thaneshwar Haor in Etna, Magura Khal in Itna, Bangalpara Haor in Ashtagram, and Badla have seen the spectacular presence of migratory birds.
Just before dusk, the sight of flocks of birds will delight anyone’s eyes. Apart from the migrants, the presence of indigenous birds can also be observed in the Haor wetlands. Pankauri groups in particular spread immense beauty in the eyes of the visitors.
