AK Khan and company elects new CEO

A K Khan and Company Ltd has appointed Asif Bhuiyan as its new Group Chief Executive Officer.
With more than twenty six years of diverse experience across industries and geographies, Asif has a proven track record of fostering growth and delivering business results. Before joining A K Khan and Company, he held several leadership roles in multinationals like LafargeHolcim, Unilever, and British American Tobacco.

Asif’s professional journey began at British American Tobacco in Trade Marketing and Distribution function, where he laid foundation of his distinguished and illustrated career. He later joined Unilever and his pivotal appointments were Customer Marketing Director Bangladesh, Country Manager Lebanon and Syria, Head of Customer Marketing for Maghreb Business based at Casablanca and Senior Audit Manager, Singapore. Most recently, he served as the Marketing Director and then Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at LafargeHolcim Bangladesh.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA from Aligarh University, India.
