18 crude bombs recovered from DU campus

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) recovered 18 crude bombs from Tin Netar Mazar (Three leaders’ mausoleum) at Doel Chattar on the Dhaka University (DU) campus on Tuesday night. Assistant Superintendent of Police Saiful Islam, operation officer of Rab-3, said on secret information, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and found a shopping bag lying at a place in an abandoned condition. Later, they recovered 18 crude bombs searching the shopping bag. However, no one was arrested in this connection. –UNB, Dhaka.
