Jibannagar Correspondent :
The Chuadanga district unit of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) held an urgent meeting with its leaders and workers at Jibannagar in Chuadanga. The meeting was held at the party office of Jibannagar Upazila BNP on Tuesday with its convener Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu as chief guest. Convener Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu said to the party leaders and workers of BNP and all affiliated organizations that there is no conflict. Peace and order must be maintained. If anyone takes the law into his own hands, organizational action will be taken against him. No concession will be given in this regard.
He said that the Awami government has looted and sucked the country for 16 years. Sheikh Hasina was forced to leave the country by resigning in the face of intense student movement. Now the transition period of the country is going on. This motherland, this Bangladesh is mine, yours, everyone’s.
Therefore, in this situation, everyone should cooperate in the reform of the state. Although Sheikh Hasina fled, the culprits of her party are still in this country. They will plot, commit violence, loot, anarchy and blame it on BNP. We will all be careful. Do not step into their trap under any circumstances. Babu Khan said, no revenge, no retribution. We want good governance and democracy to be established in the country. So now is the time to be alert and united to resist those miscreants.
