Magura school authority accused of power exploitation

Md. Ali Reza, president of the School Managing Committee (SMC) of Magura Mohammadpur Digha Intaj Molya Secondary School, has been accused of abusing his power. Md. Hasmat Ali Chowdhury, the head teacher (in charge) of the school, made a complaint of publishing employment notice before vacancy of a post concerned breaching rules and regulations.
The teacher mentioned in his written complaint that late headmaster of Digha Intaz Molya Secondary School Md. Yunus Ali died on 25th April 2024. His name is yet to be removed from the MPO sheet through legal process after his death. Although not excluded due to procedural reasons, without notifying the acting headmaster and ignoring the rules of the education board, the president of the school council, Md. Ali Reza, has published vacancy announcements and recruitment notices in the newspaper in a desperate bid to provide quick appointments.
