BOU VC congratulates Fakhrul on Presidency

Bangladesh Open University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan has congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his election as Bangladesh’s 23rd President.

In a congratulatory message, the BOU Vice-Chancellor described Fakhrul as a wise, gracious and visionary statesman who had earned public trust and respect through his long political career, sacrifice, integrity and patriotism.

BOU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan expressed hope that President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, drawing on his wisdom and experience, would play a significant role in advancing Bangladesh as a developed and dignified nation.

He also hoped that higher education, research and innovation in the country’s universities would gain new momentum under Fakhrul’s leadership.

The BOU Vice-Chancellor wished the newly elected President good health, long life and a successful tenure.
