Habib Wahid and Imran after song ‘Boka Mon’

Popular musician and composer Habib Wahid is the promoter of a new style of modern music in Bangladesh.
Still many of this generation dream of singing to the tune of Habib Wahid or singing a duet with him.
On the other hand, the popular musician and composer of this generation, Imran Mahmudul’s dream was to sing to the tune of Habib Wahid.
Imran first sang Habib Wahid’s tune titled ‘Romeo Juliet’ in the movie ‘Tumi Sondhyar Meghmala’ directed by Tanmoy Tansen. After that, Imran lent his voice to Habib’s tune in seven/eight more jingles.
Again Habib Wahid lent his voice in a song titled ‘Boka Mon’ a few days ago which tune was composed by singer Imran. This song has also received a lot of response from the audience.
On the birthday of Habib’s younger son Ayat on July 7, Habib and Imran met at a homely event. Imran said that several new work plans are underway.
While talking in this regard, Imran told this correspondent, “I spent my time listening to Habib Bhai’s songs in my school and college life. I used to get very emotional after listening to his songs. After starting work in the industry, I met and talked with Habib Bhai. He loved me very much. I also respected him. Once Habib Bhai gave me the opportunity to lend my voice for the play-back song in the movie to his tune. His tone and voice, the whole thing seems to me to be a magical thing. I still get very emotional after listening to his voice. We met on Ayat’s birthday and planned some new works. Hopefully we can start a new work soon, Inshallah.”
Meanwhile, Imran said that soon he will go to Jeddah and USA to perform in stage shows.
From there, after finishing the show, he will return to the country and get busy with the stage show in the country.
It is mentioned that the song ‘Boka Mon’ is written by Rajat Ghosh, the music was composed by Imran Mahmudul and the song was released by Rongon Music.
