Drug dealer arrested in Savar

Dhaka District (North) Goenda Police (DB) arrested a drug dealer by conducting a special drive in Savar, Dhaka with 50 bottles of Phensedyl.
In a press release on Wednesday (July 3) afternoon, the officer in charge of Dhaka District North DB confirmed this matter.
The arrestee is Abu Shaker Shakeel (38), son of deceased Shafiur Rahman of Collegepara area of Domar police station of Nilphamari district.
According to DB Police, on Tuesday (2) afternoon at 3:30 PM, a team of DB Police including SI Mazharul Islam and SI Fazluk Haque Sangeet Force conducted a special drive in Boliyarpur area of Savar Upazila and arrested a drug dealer named Abu Shaker Shakeel.
Officer-in-charge of Dhaka District North DB. Riaz Uddin Ahmed (Revolution) told this reporter that the initial interrogation revealed that the arrested drug dealer had been collecting illegal drugs from different parts of the country for a long time and selling them to dealers and retail drug sellers in various areas near Savar in Dhaka district.
A drug case has been registered against accused Shakeel in Savar police station.
