Housewife beaten to death in Jessore

A housewife was beaten to death at Bhaina village under Jessore Sadar upazila on Wednesday night.
She came under terrorist attack as he did not honour village reconciliation held at the area at around 9pm.
The dead was identified as Radha Rani Mondol, 55, wife of Katrik Mondol of Bhaina village under Kotwali police station. Husband Katrik, 60, son Moni Mondol, 26, and her husband’s brothers- Debu Mondol, 45 and Manar Mondol, 57 were rushed to Jessore Medical College Hospital.
The wounded told that opponents of Katrik Mondol attacked them with local weapons as they refused to accept the verdict of a village reconciliation meeting arranged by the miscreants over a feud neighbours Tapan and Ratan at around 9pm on Wednesday. ‘Radha Rani Mondol died at Jessore Medical College Hospital after four wounded were rushed there’, they added.
