Spl prayer offered for rain in Netrakona

Several hundreds of Muslims offered Namaz-e-Istikhar and special prayer seeking blessings of Almighty Allah for rain at local Muktarpara ground here at 11 AM today.
Samilito Ulama Parishad organized the religious program following severe heat wave and draught-like situation which has been sweeping across the district and elsewhere of the country for the last fortnight.
Prominent Alem Moulana Mohammad Taher Kashemi conducted the Namaz-e-Istikhar and special prayer seeking divine blessings for rain all over the country including the district for protecting the lives of human beings , animals, standing crops and fruits from the severe hot spell and draught -like situation.
