Prices upset commoners to go for Eid shopping

Half of Ramadan is over. It is only ten days left for the holy Eid-ul-Fitr to celebrate. However, around the Eid festival, the markets of the upazila including Biyanibazar municipality have not gathered yet. Traders in big markets have expressed their disappointment about not getting the desired customers even though they have arranged bahari Eid clothes. Although the sellers say that the crowd has increased more than before. Maybe expatriates haven’t started sending money yet. Usually, Eid shopping accumulates in Biyani Bazaar a week before Eid.
The presence of customers in the big markets and shopping malls of Biyanibazar city is less, but many people are running in Sylhet city. Because the prices of Eid products are high in the city. So they went to Sylhet a little earlier.
A young buyer named Farhad said that he bought from Sylhet city with his family members. In Biyani Bazar the price is higher than the quality of the product. So since last 2-3 years he has stopped buying from local market.
