Human chain demanding trial of AL former MP Nadvi

A human chained was organised in Satkaniya demanding justice for various misdeeds, corruption and looting of Abu Reza Nadvi, a former Awami League (AL) member of parliament (MP) from Chittagong-15 constituency and his nephew Madarsha Union Parishad Chairman ANM Salim and his other family members. The human chain program was held under the banner of Madarsha and Eochia Union of the upazila and the affected people of Satkania on Sunday.
The human chain discussed the conversion of Deodighi market into a drug transit point, irregularity in construction of government cluster villages, extortion of crores of taka in the name of hospital construction, forced occupation of government and private land, illegal forest by MP Nadvi and his cohorts. They demanded the removal of chairman Salim, who was convicted of various misdemeanors including cutting trees, occupying the irrigation project adjacent to Madarsha Sluice Gate, former MP Abu Reza Nadvi and his nephew ANM Salim and other family members.
