‘Pledge to build plastic-free Bangladesh’

With a group of Children organizes various eco-friendly sports throughout the day to make Bangladesh greener and plastic-free.
At the same time, the institution also organizes the traditional Pithapuli festival.

On Saturday, the day-long fun event was held at the BDDL Gold Palace playground in Khilgaon under the title of “kichirmichir”.
BDDL Properties Limited organized this.

Children from 90 families in two ten-storey buildings of BDDL Gold Palace participate in these games.

MA Baten Khan, Managing Director of BDDL Properties Limited and Chairman of BK Foundation, inaugurated the program by cutting the ribbon and flying pigeons.

Additional Managing Director of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) was present. Fazlul Quader, Mamunur Rahman, Founder of Ella Pad, AGM Engineer Haroon-or-Rashid of BDDL Properties Limited, Head of Sales Musa Ibn Matiur etc.

In the opening speech MA Baten Khan said that nowadays boys and girls have become addicted to mobile and internet.

I want to encourage them towards sports through this program. Our main objective is to create awareness about the environment. Besides, the boys and girls of this time do not know the names of many cakes. Not even China. But pitha is the tradition of our village Bengal. Pitha festival has been organized to bring this tradition before them and to create awareness about the harmful aspects of junk food.

He said that in 2024, he is working “with the conviction of building a plastic-free Bangladesh”.

Baharunnessa is conducting various service activities while building public library in Dayalnagar village of Bara upazila of Pabna.

BDDL Gold Palace also has a playground on six and a half acres of land. Apart from the roof of this palace, around 250 different species of trees have been planted around. Residents here are living modern with greenery in the middle of the city.

The play-lot has swings, sleepers and various rides. There is enough space for adult stories, chat walkways in this complex. The grounds, parks here are named after cricket stars Mashrafe, Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose, Brajen Das. And Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah has been cornered. Where reading books, chatting, knowing and informing about trees.

The exceptional initiatives in the respective sports competition were: building houses in sand and creating the complete layout of the project, boys and girls living in the project will build their buildings with sand and determine the location of their flats.

It will help them develop their talent. Watering the trees was one of the races. To convey the message of “Let the boys and girls grow up with greenness”, in “Run for Tree” children should learn to take care of the flies in their homes and learn to protect the balance of the environment.
