Arts, Law and Social Sciences unit entry test

The undergraduate admission test of Dhaka University (DU) under Arts Law and Social Sciences unit for the academic year of 2023-24 was held on Friday in the divisional cities across the country.

The admission seekers sat in the examination at 11:00 am and continued till 12.30 pm.

A total of 1,12,278 candidates applied for the admission tests in this unit against 2,934 seats this year.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof ASM Maksud Kamal visited the examination Hall of Social Science Building and expressed satisfaction as the examination was held peacefully.

The entry test was held simultaneously in Chittagong University, Rajshahi University, Khulna University, Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet, Barishal University, and Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur.

The examinees had to face a total of 100-mark questions including a set of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 60 marks and a written part worth 40 marks.

The entry test for the Business Studies unit will be held today where a total of 37,660 admission seekers will sit against 1,050 seats available. In that case, 36 admission seekers will fight for a seat in this test.
