APBN arrests rape accused from Mymensingh

The victim met Aleya (21) (not real name) of Gauripur Upazila of Mymensingh with Imran Hasan Sijan (28) at his maternal grandmother’s house in Ishwarganj Municipal area of Mymensingh 2 years ago. Later he intimidated the hostage and forcibly took some offensive pictures of him. Later, the defendant blackmailed him by showing his picture. On 10/11/2023 he was raped at his own house under Ishwarganj police station. Also raped multiple times at undisclosed location and secretly videotaped. She stopped talking to him after seeing his actions. In this situation, Eng married another person in the plaintiff’s family on 21/12/2023. Even after the marriage of the plaintiff, the defendant kept calling her from different numbers and pressuring her to meet him. When she doesn’t meet him, he makes her offensive pictures and videos go viral
Sent offensive videos and pictures through Facebook Messenger to various people known to the plaintiff and her husband. When she called National Emergency Service “999” for legal help in the matter, she was afraid and ashamed of such activities and asked her to come to Cyber Crime Cell, 2 APBN, Muktagachha, Mymensingh. The victim appeared on 12/02/2024 at Cyber Crime Branch of 2 APBN, Muktagachha, Mymensingh and lodged a complaint. In pursuance of his complaint dated 13/02/2024 under the overall direction of Commanding Officer (Additional DIG) Ali Ahmad Khan of 2 APBN, Muktagacha, Mymensingh Cyber Crime Cell APBN, Headquarters 2 APBN, Muktagacha, Mymensingh with the help of advanced information technology of LIC/CIA Wing of the said accused. The defendant was located and arrested. On examination of the 2 mobile phones belonging to him, obscene, indecent pictures and videos of multiple women including the victim and fake Facebook IDs were found. So that there is information about the sending of objectionable pictures and videos of the plaintiff through various messengers. Later, the arrested accused was handed over to Ishwarganj police station of Mymensingh district.
